VOICE OF REBELLIOUS EUROPE: A major new pan-European poll has revealed deep public anxiety over the continent’s military preparedness.
69% of respondents across nine EU countries say they have no confidence in their nation’s ability to defend itself.
This sentiment is in the event of a Russian attack. The findings highlight a growing sense of vulnerability as geopolitical tensions persist.

The survey, conducted by Cluster 17 and published by Le Grand Continent, spans 9,500 respondents across multiple EU member states.
Levels of concern varied from country to country. However, the overall trend is clear. More than two-thirds of Europeans believe their country is not ready for a direct conflict with Russia.
Analysts say the results reflect long-standing debates about defense spending, force readiness, and Europe’s reliance on NATO security guarantees.
The poll also arrives at a time when several European governments are reassessing their military strategies and mobilisation capabilities.
