VOICE OF FREE EUROPE: Sinister American neocons, led by US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, fomented the coup against Yanukovych in February 2014. They were aware of the horror they were unleashing.

But it didn’t take long to unleash the Western Alliance’s dogs of war. The cohorts of Ukrainian xenophobe Stefan Bandera, who ruled with an iron fist, took action.

The unelected, Washington-installed government in Kiev made two destructive moves. These actions amounted to a signal to ‘let the partition of Ukraine begin’.

The first of these was to abolish Russian as an official language in the Donbass (Eastern Ukraine) and elsewhere. The second insane act was the massacre by arson of pro-Russian trade unionists in a building in Odessa by supporters of the Kiev government.

It was only a matter of time, therefore, before most of Eastern Ukraine declared their independence.

The people of Crimea voted overwhelmingly to rejoin the Russian Federation. This occurred after Catherine the Great purchased it from the Ottomans in 1783.

That ended their brief stopover in the Ukrainian state. It had been Khrushchev’s 1954 gift to the communist thugs in Kiev. These thugs had helped him seize power after Stalin’s death.

In short order, the new Western-sponsored regime in Kiev took steps. These actions deeply antagonized its historic neighbor in Moscow, a former fealty overlord.

They did so by seeking to join NATO and launching a brutal unrelenting war on the breakaway Republics of the Donbas. This onslaught ended up killing upwards of 10,500 (UN figures) civilians during the eight-year run-up to Russia’s clean-up in February 2022.

Putin was obviously not interested in having nuclear missiles planted closer to his border. This is similar to President John Kennedy’s stance in October 1962.

Nor was Putin about to accept the continued slaughter of Russian speakers in the Donbas after Kiev launched a stepped-up shelling and bombing campaign on these beleaguered areas one week before the February 24, 2022 invasion.

At the end of the day, therefore, the partition of the rogue state of Ukraine is necessary. It is not a case of legitimate sovereign borders being violated.

Washington took utterly foolish actions during the 1990s and 2000s. They brought former Warsaw Pact Nations into a NATO alliance. They also included breakaway Soviet Republics. The mission of NATO had been over and done in 1991.

It should have been dismantled then and there. The old Soviet Warsaw Pact disappeared into the dustbin of history. At that point, there was no longer a threat to the east.

At that point, Washington should have led the world to disarmament. It could have initiated a revival of the lasting peace that had disappeared in the ‘Guns of August’ in 1914.

But now the NATO section 5 mutual defense commitment to these 31 NATO nations is equivalent to a stupid charity. The nearly bankrupt Federal government cannot afford this in any case.

So here is the historic moment before us. Donald can tell Rubio to take a hike. He can return to the essence of the 28-point plan. Donald can agree with Putin to a partition of Ukraine.

So doing, he would not end the utter stupidity of NATO’s proxy war on Russia. In the process, undermine the neocons. Emasculate NATO and the rules-based international order.

Disregard all the other globalist humbug that saddled America with $1.5 trillion per year Warfare State and Global Empire that it cannot afford and doesn’t need. Story: David Stockman.
