HEALTHCARE NEWS:
‘A healer,’ my doctor repeated.
Dr Moreno paused and looked flummoxed. Smiling at her bewilderment, I searched for a word she might be more familiar with.
‘A shaman,’ I replied.

A shaman is a spiritual leader or healer. They are believed to have special powers to connect with the spirit world. They can heal illnesses and guide their community. Shamans often treat illness by restoring balance between the physical and spiritual worlds.
Anticipating my doctor’s scepticism, I shrugged off her disbelief and allowed her to continue. My health was restored. I felt grateful for Dr Moreno and her team’s expertise. They resolved my problem.
A Menacing Growth

Earlier that year, I had been admitted to emergency. Over 15 days, the doctors diagnosed me with a growth on my colon. The doctors were baffled but agreed that the condition was either a tumour or an abscess.
Dealing with it was problematic as the threatening growth was situated in an impossibly difficult part of my colon. A further aggravation was my age, as it was a time in my life when invasive surgery was best avoided.
Difficulties and Dilemmas
There was little likelihood of a successful outcome but a high probability that things could go wrong.
The only compromise was a course of powerful antibiotics. This was only a repair kit and not a solution. Antibiotics can reduce but not remove an abscess or a tumour.
But the antibiotics would buy time while on several occasions the specialists went into a huddle and made hard choices.
Carol Everett
Contacting Carol (Everett), who is a healer, I told my friend of my condition and the dilemma.
Why not? Carol and I had known each other for two years or more. As a healer, the attractive spiritual guide had solved several health dilemmas. She also addressed the health concerns of others, as I have earlier reported.
Of course, in medicine, there is rarely an immediate cure, and time is the only anesthetic.
Spiritual Intervention

After 15 days of tests and antibiotics, the condition had been dealt with, I was allowed home. I was confident the tissue issue was satisfactorily resolved thanks to Carol’s intervention as a healer.
However, as far as the medical specialists were concerned, that was not the end of the matter.
As mentioned earlier, antibiotics cannot remove an abscess or tumour. There would need to be further tests and there were more scans over the coming months. Meanwhile, they would debate a surgical solution.
Was there a happy ending?

Yes, several weeks and for the second post-scan time, I kept my appointment with Dr Moreno.
During our meeting, I learn that the most recent scan showed that there was no trace of the condition. Furthermore, there would be no need for further scans, just a blood test sometime in the future.
Several months have elapsed since my admission to the hospital, and my entire digestive system is behaving perfectly.
Dr Moreno and my family doctor, both brilliant medical practitioners, may be disbelieving. I am not sceptical. This is far from being the first time healer Carol Everett has worked her wonders on me. She has done so on others as well. Thank you, Carol.
