REAL HEALTH: We all remember days in our lives when we receive news that changes one’s life: In my case, it was a health update that shortened my life considerably.
My wife and I sat gloomily in the pulmonologist’s office. The hospital was situated in wintry Riga, Latvia. The outside temperatures were -20 °C.
I have the date in my diary: October 26, 2020.
Our eyes were fixed on a health specialist’s computer monitor as she explained the images on the monitor.
The images on the tell-all screen were those of my CT-scanned lungs. Clearly seen were the shadows of pixilated dots accumulated around the outer edges of my lungs; one more than the other.
‘You have fibrosis,’ she said
Never say die when given a health diagnosis

The pulmonologist went on to explain. Pulmonary fibrosis is a chronic lung disease where lung tissue becomes scarred and stiff, making it increasingly difficult to breathe.
What Happens in Pulmonary Fibrosis
• Scarring of lung tissue: The walls of the air sacs (alveoli) in the lungs thicken and stiffen due to fibrosis (scarring), reducing their ability to transfer oxygen into the bloodstream.
• Progressive condition: It typically worsens over time, although the rate of progression varies between individuals.
Prognosis
• Life expectancy varies, but idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis often leads to death within 3–5 years of diagnosis.
Twisting the knife for reasons that will always mystify me, the specialist spoke with considerable malice. As she explained the condition, she spoke accusingly as if I had caught the pox after visiting a brothel.
You will be dead within three years

‘You will be dead within three years, ’ she scolded.
It was as if the thought pleased her. Venomously, she added that the three years could likely be shortened considerably.
She went on to say that the last weeks of one’s life would be considerably distressing as the body craved oxygen. In a word, if you get fibrosis, you are slowly smothered to death.
Was the Pulmonologist Right or Wrong?
Naturally, I immediately did my own research, and it didn’t get better: the pulmonologist appeared to be right. Three years, or to put it another way, 36 months, is a very short timescale: And that was the maximum.
So, how is it that I am writing this as I enter the SIXTH YEAR after that death sentence was delivered? Furthermore, I am healthier today than I was back in 2020.

I travel all over Europe: I spend hours sauntering through city centres, and strolling for six or more kilometres is normal for me. No medical aids, no Zimmer frame or oxygen aids.
Twice a year, I am rigorously tested by my now Spanish hospital, whose pulmonologist, on each visit, so far, has smiled, clearly upbeat, he has scratched his head and reported ‘no change.’
In matters of health, as all else in life (and death), there will always be speculation. Besides, one hesitates to gloat ‘I got it beat’ which could tempt fate.
Here is a clue

Before the stabilisation and ongoing improvement, I had mentioned my ailment to my friend, Dr Carol Everett. My distant health healer was on to my case immediately.
It would be easy to dismiss Carol’s apparent success as a happy coincidence, but not so fast.
Dr Carol Everett, as outlined in other stories, both personal and concerning other patients, has a reputation for healing where conventional healthcare services fail.
In fact, Dr Everett, or rather her accomplishments, are recognised by the heads of international universities and health services.
I do not doubt that my ailment (fibrosis) has been much diminished by the course of treatment provided by Dr Everett.
Why am I so cocksure?
Because Carol Everett has already worked wonders on other ailments that have baffled the experts. In each case, I can speak for myself and others. Ms Everett has consistently succeeded where conventional healthcare failed. You can share this story on social media: TELL US WHAT YOU THINK
While Carol is sought out primarily for her diagnostic and healing abilities, she also provides Karmic life readings and other related psychic services as part of a client’s path to development needs, including emotional stress cleansing.
She is also available for group meditation seminars, healing circles, and group demonstrations. Carol can be reached by email. Email. carol@caroleverett.com Carol’s website address is: www.caroleverett.com
