MICHAEL WALSH AMERICAN FREE PRESS: Speaking at the 22nd Valdai Discussion Club in Sochi, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that the era of a single model of governance for all humanity was over.

Those attending the world-shaping forum made an impressive audience. The forum’s 140 participants included heads of state representing 42 countries from varied parts of the world.

Russia’s head of state focused on transforming the old-world order and a shift toward multipolarity, whilst shunning the use of force.

Putin’s four-hour-long statement outlined a vision of a new world order that downgrades the fading American globalist economic and military hegemony.

Clarity of purpose was self-evident: “sovereign nations now moor themselves in their own traditions, drawing strength from culture, faith, and history.”

In his view, ancestral values are reawakening as globalism and cultural imperialism disappear. The world is witnessing an emerging phenomenon of self-governing civilizations.

Putin warned that the emerging world is still finding its feet and entering a period of searching for sustainable solutions. There is no use looking for a blueprint; there isn’t one.

Yet, amidst this uncertainty, a deep-rooted sentiment persists that all nations must hold fast to the anchors of their individual histories.

Tellingly, Russia’s head of state resolved that those nations set loose from liberal globalism cannot drift with the currents of instability.

Crossing frontiers of thought, Putin believes that each nation’s roots lie in their culture; in ethical and religious values that ripened through centuries, in geography, and in the space each civilization inhabits.

“These form the compass of identity. Traditions are at the heart of this compass. Each nation possesses its own. Each tradition is unique, shaped by its land and history.”

The vaporizing liberalist-globalist order to force a single model upon the world has failed.

The Comintern (Communist International) is dead: Vladimir Putin spoke of the futility of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) in its attempt to impose its system on others.

He went on to say that the United States, through the 20^th century and especially following the collapse of the Soviet Union, with similar ineffectiveness, had picked up the baton.

He closed by saying he believed that the European Union had been fruitless in its attempt to resurrect the USSR according to its own governance.

Mikhail Gorbachev, the last leader of the Soviet Union (1985-1991), warned the European Union against any attempt to replicate the dying ​Soviet empire.

Vladimir Putin’s message claimed that each nation must define its own path, rooted in its own culture.

“Across the world, we see it now. The Global South turns to its own heritage. Even in the West, patriotic fragments (conservatism) of society search for their forgotten roots. When nations focus on their own growth, they find it easier to deal with others as equals.”

Focusing on a yearning to return to ancestral roots, he reminded the world that Western attempts to corrupt Russian society had failed.

What was meant to weaken the (Russian) spirit has instead awakened a sleeping giant. Traditional Russian costume now enters the modern street as a symbol of defiance and pride.

“Tradition, far from being buried, returns with greater strength, and the youth themselves carry it forward.”

Addressing his audience, he pointed out that fervent patriotic nationalism emerging in Russia was increasingly being imitated around the globe.

“Even in the United States under Donald Trump, we see the same impulse: a turn from hollow liberal dogmas towards roots, identity, and history.

“The 1776 Commission, reborn under his leadership, is restoring patriotic education and reclaiming the narrative of America’s founding from distorted ideology.

“Trump is issuing executive orders to reshape how national symbols, monuments, and museums present history, demanding that they not inappropriately disparage past Americans or betray the founding spirit.

“He is re-elevating faith and national symbols, insisting on a sovereign national narrative, and framing the culture war as one between a people and the elite who would rewrite their memory.”

Putin added: “It is a shift: the return of a pride in heritage, the reclaiming of stories once surrendered to liberal scholars, and the reassertion that a nation must grow its future from its past, not abandon it.”

He told his audience: “Their elites suffocate them with liberal dogma, wield racial diversity as propaganda, and preach a false morality that demands they accept being displaced by foreigners in their own lands.” for details.

Wokeism, born in America, is already exhausted. It is burning itself out in its birthplace. Its slogans sound increasingly meaningless even to its former believers. Alongside it, globalism is fading. Its claims of universality are being exposed as fraud.

Europe remains trapped. Europe has become the fortress of liberal insanity and racism. It cloaks itself in talk of equality while imposing its anti-values with supreme arrogance.

It insists on exporting LGBTQ ideology, transgender experiments, and climate hysteria. These are its banners. Behind them lies contempt for others. This is the new liberal form of white supremacism.

The choice for Europe is stark. It can continue down the road of arrogance, pointlessly trying to push its liberal creed upon the world and collapsing in utter irrelevance. Or it can accept a new role. Europe must change with the times or sink into emptiness.

The storms ahead will be strong. Yet with firm roots, civilizations endure.
