

At a percentage likely to be repeated elsewhere across Europe, it is revealed that only one in six Italians is ready to fight the wars of the super-rich corporations and their bought-off-the-shelf political elite.
More than a third would either flee their country or, hopefully, rely on foreign mercenaries instead of fighting, a CENSIS survey shows.
Almost a third of respondents believe Italy will be drawn into a conflict within the next five years, but fewer than one in six of those of fighting age say they would take up arms, the poll suggests. The figure is 21% among men and 12% among women.
