MICHAEL WALSH AMERICAN FREE PRESS: The objective of Israel’s sneak attack on Iran was to sabotage the ongoing diplomatic talks destined to verify Iran’s status as a conscientious objector to the concept of developing a nuclear deterrent.
Israel claims that Iran already has the capability; a charge unproven and denied by, among others, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the CIA.
The evidence of such an allegation lacking, the cornered Israel set out to destroy the evidence of Iran’s compliance.
BUDDY SYSTEM
The ‘Buddy System’ is an American concept denoting close friends who look after each other’s backs. It was inevitable that Trump, a fierce defender and long-term acquaintance of Benjamin Netanyahu, would be drawn into Israel’s conflict with the Islamic State.

The outcome appears to be a chastised Donald Trump, who was ruffled by remarks by Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council and former president of Russia.
SO, WHAT WAS ACTUALLY ACHIEVED
“So, what exactly did the US accomplish with its midnight strike on three targets in Iran?
Iran’s critical nuclear infrastructure appears to be intact or only minimally damaged. Uranium enrichment will continue, as may its likely pursuit of nuclear weapons.
Several countries are reportedly ready to supply Iran with nuclear warheads directly. Israel is under fire, explosions are echoing through its cities, and civilians are panicking.

ANOTHER WASHINGTON CONFLICT
The US is now entangled in yet another conflict, this one carrying the very real possibility of a ground war. Iran’s political leadership has not only survived, it has grown stronger.
Iranians who opposed the regime now rally around it. Donald Trump, the self-styled peace president, has just launched a new war. The overwhelming majority of the international community is siding against the US and Israel.
Finally, at this rate, Trump can kiss that Nobel Peace Prize goodbye, despite how absurdly compromised the award has become. So, congratulations, Mr. President. Truly a stellar start.”
ATTACK ON IRAN: A MASSIVE BACKFIRING FAILURE

Israel’s attack on Iran failed to achieve any of its objectives, agreed Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani in remarks to Al Mayadeen.
More importantly, for Westerners at least, is to draw back the curtains of diplomatic interchanges and observe how the only counterbalance to American pursuit of world dominion views the likely consequences of Trump’s attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
First, it would be foolish to assume that Israel’s antagonism toward Iran has been dealt with. The 12-day conflict merely tested each party’s strength, from which lessons have been learned.
Before the dust had settled, the non-Western world knew that Israel’s loss in lives and infrastructure was immeasurable and unsustainable.
IRAN CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO TRIUMPH

However, neither Israel nor Washington can afford to live with a triumphant and resurgent Iran, which, in alliance with the Iran-friendly world, could relegate both Tel Aviv and Washington to a detail of history.
Tel Aviv and Washington seem to be in a hole of their own making. The world outside their orbit of influence believes what Iran calls ‘The Great Satan’ will keep digging.
Let us remember that the entire Red Sea region offers a US Navy armada of potential false flags. Washington needs no lessons in such lures.
WHAT RUSSIA THINKS

Alexander Dugin (see top picture) is a political philosopher and geopolitical analyst. A recognized confidant of Russia’s head of state, Dugin is known for his ultranationalist and anti-Western rhetoric.
During the 1990s, Dugin sought out General Leon Degrelle of the SS Wallonia Division, who was living in exile in Spain. It was Degrelle who said that had Germany not attacked, Stalin would have been standing in Calais looking across at England.
WE ARE NOW IN WORLD WAR III
Alexander Dugin is adamant: “Some still cling to the illusion that World War III might somehow pass us by. It won’t. We are already in the thick of it.
The US has carried out a bombing strike against Iran, our ally. Nothing stopped them. And if nothing stops them from bombing Iran, then nothing will stop them from targeting Russia next.

“At some point, they may decide that Russia, like Iran, shouldn’t be allowed to possess nuclear weapons, or find some other pretext to strike. Make no mistake: we are at war.
Putin’s key philosopher adds that the US can attack whether we advance or retreat. It’s not about strategy, it’s about will.
Ukraine may not be Israel in the eyes of the West, but it plays a similar role.
THE WEST IS ISRAEL’S BITCH
Israel didn’t always exist; it was created and quickly became a proxy for the collective West, though some Israelis would argue the opposite, that the West is merely a proxy for Israel.
Ukraine follows the same trajectory. No wonder Zelensky demands rather than invites Western support, including nuclear arms.

Dugin says, “Our appeals to the UN and calls for peace have become meaningless. If Iran falls, Russia is next. Trump, once again, is firmly in the grip of the neocons. The MAGA project is over. There is no ‘great America,’ only standard-issue globalism in its place.
CAN A RESURGENT IRAN SAVE THE WORLD FROM THE GREAT SATAN
Fyodor Lukyanov, editor-in-chief of Russia in Global Affairs, says, “They (Israel) will argue the job isn’t done. Whether Trump is willing, or even able to resist that pressure, remains uncertain.”
The big question now is whether Iran will consider returning to talks with Washington after this attack. Why negotiate when American promises no longer means anything?
Now, everything hinges on Iran. If it stays on its feet and keeps fighting, it might still prevail. The Strait of Hormuz may be closed. The Houthis are deterring traffic in the Red Sea. As new players enter the fray, the situation will evolve rapidly. China will try to stay out until the first blow lands on them, too.
But if Iran folds, it won’t just lose itself. It will expose the rest of us. That includes Russia, now facing an existential choice. Russia is already fighting.
