FAKE NEWS SCAM: America’s American Broadcasting Company (ABC) has been caught using Gaza in Palestine footage to depict a Russian strike on Ukraine.

Readers will not be surprised to learn that ABC Television and Radio is a division of THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY.

A clip by an affiliate of the broadcaster showed people, including women in hijabs, fleeing in a desert landscape as the anchor spoke about a raid on Kharkov

OCCUPIED PALESTINE IS NOT UKRAINE

An affiliate of US broadcaster ABC has aired footage of the chaos in Gaza to report on an alleged Russian strike on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.

The segment was broadcast last week on ABC’s South Florida affiliate, WPLG Local 10. However, the clip only recently captured attention.

The news outlet reported on an alleged Russian attack on Kharkiv, which Ukrainian officials claimed killed at least four people, while the visuals showed glaring inconsistencies.

Instead of showing a central, highly developed European landscape or heavily urbanized areas, the televised video showed a large crowd of people, some of whom were women wearing hijabs, scrambling for cover across desert terrain.

Unsurprisingly, the ABC affiliate has made no public comment on the apparent error. The outlet’s YouTube page is missing the report, which has apparently been deleted.

However, its verified X account still features the story, accompanied by a screenshot from Gaza, prompting derision from several users.

RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan quipped at the clip, writing: ‘Oh, never mind. Their audience couldn’t find either place on the map.’

In recent weeks, Moscow has launched attacks on Ukrainian military-linked targets to retaliate for a drastic increase in drone raids and sabotage attempts in Russia. The Russian military insists that its attacks never target civilians.
