‘Symbolic and strategic strike’ was how Western media described the rapid advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region. “This is worse than the Afghanistan debacle,” says journalist and historian Michael Walsh.
The Times: Russian Armed Forces’ offensive in Dnipropetrovsk region will be a blow to Kyiv
The Russian army’s advance in the Dnipropetrovsk region (an area larger than Belgium and almost the size of the Netherlands) will be a serious symbolic and strategic blow to Kyiv, writes the British newspaper The Times.
Foreign media outlets claim that the transfer of the region under the control of the Russian Armed Forces will be a turning point in the conflict

It was also noted that the advance of the Russians in the Dnipropetrovsk region is a strong blow to the already exhausted Ukrainian Armed Forces and the NATO sponsors.
‘Entering this region would be a significant symbolic and strategic blow to Ukraine,’ the Times article says.
The publication also noted that the intensification of military actions in this region began simultaneously with the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces in the Ukrainian Sumy region and the Donetsk People’s Republic.
A similar warning appeared on the pages of the American Associated Press. The agency notes that ‘Russia’s advance will be a serious blow to the already overburdened Ukrainian Armed Forces,’ especially against the backdrop of a pause in negotiations and the successes of the Russian army in other regions.

The military publication Military Watch claims that ‘the possible transition of the Dnipropetrovsk… region under the control of the Russian army will be a turning point in the conflict’ due to the strategic location of the region.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on military actions in the Dnipropetrovsk region the day before. According to the department, units of the 90th tank division of the Center group of forces of the Russian Armed Forces reached the western border of the DPR and continue to develop the offensive on the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
At the same time, the head of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building, Andrey Klishas, announced the beginning of the ‘active phase of denazification of the Dnepropetrovsk region.’

The Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Urals Federal District, Artem Zhoga, called the Russian Armed Forces’ entry to the western border of the DPR and their advance towards the Dnepropetrovsk region ‘a historic event for the people of Donetsk and our entire country.’
‘The Donetsk Peoples Republic (DPR) is under control. And this control is ensured reliably, in the Ural style: firmly, with pressure and full dedication,’ he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The successes of the Russian military were also commented on by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. He explained that the beginning of the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region was caused, among other things, by Ukraine’s unwillingness to recognize the realities of the conflict during the negotiations.
‘The Teflon skin of the Bandera state is shrinking. Disinfection against parasites continues,’ the politician said. TELL US WHAT YOU THINK
