On Monday, April 28, many European countries and tens of millions of people were plunged into a primaeval state when the denial of life dependency on electricity was disabled.

I have been following with interest the mainstream scientists’ attempts to explain the cause of the blackout that struck the Iberian Peninsula.

I hear repeated claims that it was ‘probably’ caused by the expansion and retraction of the high-tension cables due to fluctuating environmental temperatures.

I’m no scientist and only have my common sense to guide me. We are barely in the middle of spring and not yet subjected to the extreme temperatures of summer.

There was nothing unusual about the temperatures that prevailed in the area at the time. Nothing unique. Yet, this time, these very normal, for the time of year, temperatures are ‘suspected’ of causing this catastrophe.

However, the Spanish Premier has been in touch with both the General Secretary of NATO as well as the EU leadership to discuss the situation. The EU, I can understand, but where does NATO fit in? Unless….

It may, or may not be of interest that a couple of months ago, the Russian Aerospace Agency put into orbit, some 585 km from Earth, a trio of satellites, which in itself is not unusual.

But what the western scientific community is wondering about is an object released by one of these satellites that they cannot explain the function of.

Moscow is not volunteering any information on the purpose of these satellites. Who can blame them?

I am not asserting that what happened in Spain/Portugal is the work of the Russians, but imagine the implications if they were in possession of the kind of Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) technology that could paralyse an entire country. TELL US WHAT YOU THINK
