YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR TRUE WEALTH: Around 15 years ago I became unwell. I had extensive tests, scans and consultations with Western Medicine under Cardiovascular and Neurological consultants.

Although the good news was everything was clear, aside from my adrenaline running slightly higher than average, there was nothing wrong with me according to the Doctors.

However, I was unable to function day to day and was signed off of work due to my symptoms. I had all the symptoms of a heart attack, which was put down to panic attacks.

I also had regular palpitations, waves of feeling like I was going to faint, a feeling that I was not in my own body and was unable to switch off or feel at ease or relaxed.

I also had unexplained head pain and intense pressure which was so severe it was difficult to even move around the house. I felt like I was going mad as I was told there was nothing wrong with me and felt at a loss as to what I could do to regain any quality of life.

This is when my Mum thought of trying to get in touch with Carol Everett. She had met her years before when Carol was doing Readings but had since stopped working with the Police and then helping people with health issues.

Carol Everett conducted what I call a Health scan which was done via video call. Carol was able to describe every single symptom I was experiencing as well as describe why they were happening.

Shortly after I flew to Spain from the UK and had a week-long intense Healing Session with Carol, where she came to me in the villa I stayed in with my Mum.

This was from memory 2-3 hours a day. Carol did not say what she was doing but I could feel so many sensations throughout my body and felt like I was floating on clouds; I was the most relaxed and safest I had felt in over a year!

I vividly remember one session where I described it as feeling like fluid was being drained from my head and the pressure and pain were evaporating. It was then that Carol said she was draining little fluid-filled sacs that sit near the occiput area.

Carol’s sense of humour and natural way with people instantly puts you at ease and has you laughing even when you feel at your worst.

Although the worst of the symptoms had disappeared on my return to the UK Carol continued to work on me with distance healing to top up and reinforce the work that she had been engaged in to help heal my body, mind and spirit.

I also received acupuncture which worked very well alongside and, interestingly struck a chord with me. I signed up for a degree in Acupuncture and this is now my passion and career that I have been doing for nearly 9 years!

To this day my time and healing with Carol is the most surreal and life-changing experience I have ever had and I thank Carol every day for giving me my life back. I will be eternally grateful.

Since then, I started to develop other symptoms within different systems of my body which increased over 2 years. I had glandular fever as a child and when run down my glands would flare as a warning to rest.

However, the flare-ups were getting worse and longer lasting with more symptoms; severe fatigue, muzzy heads, sore throat, shivers and tingles all over my body, muscle aches, ear ache and sharp pains, tinnitus, popping and blocked ears, runny nose and study sinuses.

I could work but that was about all I had the energy for. I was referred to an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist who tested my hearing and ears, did scans, and types of blood, gave me very strong antibiotics, rescanned, had a camera internally and eventually had to see another consultant for a biopsy.

This consultant carried out another scan and felt a biopsy was not necessary as they felt it was within the normal size range for someone who had glandular fever.

They said there was also some speckling but this was also normal for someone who had had glandular fever. That was me signed off – great nothing sinister but, once again, no help with why this was happening.

Alongside this, I was also suffering from digestive issues. Constipation has been an issue for me since childhood and can worsen with emotional stress or certain foods.

I work very hard to understand my body and try and give and do what it needs. Nevertheless, my digestive issues became worse and I could barely go to the toilet. I had also been getting pains in my stomach area and what I describe as a fist or rock that is in the way just under my left rib.

If I lay on my front, it would hurt or after eating it was particularly bad. I also felt very full after not eating a lot and would have episodes where I did not feel like eating. This is very unlike me, I love food!

Nothing I did helped. I paid privately to see a consultant who was incredibly helpful and thorough. It was also at this time that I reached out again to Carol who carried out another distance body scan. Once again it blew my mind how she was able to describe in detail each and every one of my many symptoms.

Not only that but she was able to explain what was happening within my body and why it was struggling. I cannot explain how comforting it is to know that someone gets you.

A lot of what triggered these symptoms was the COVID-19 vaccination. Which in hindsight I wished I’d never had. I believe the vaccine/virus mutated with my dormant one Glandular Fever/Epsom Barr Virus).

Carol started working with me distantly via the Healing Sanctuary. I had one-to-one daily for 3-4 days and then monthly. I topped up the healing myself by tuning into the healing sanctuary every day 1-3 x a day.

I had a CT scan of my abdomen and pelvis; it flagged up a shadow on my Liver but an MRI scan confirmed this was normal. The consultant described a Liver usually has marbling, like a steak, but on occasion they don’t (mine doesn’t) and this shows on a CT scan as a shadow. But it is totally normal, just like some people have a birthmark and others don’t.

I also had a colonoscopy which revealed some inflammation in my colon (12 x biopsies taken) and a polyp which was classified as ‘complex’ in its size and location.

My private consultant was the head of the complex team and he happened to be the person to remove it. This was apparently the most complex one he’d had in some time.

He also said if left it would likely have turned cancerous in a few years. He also reported that there was no longer any inflammation and the biopsies came back clear.

During this time my bowels had started to function again. Not completely normal but I was able to go most days and the pain and discomfort although would come and go, over time started to ease in intensity and duration.

The only change that was made was that I was receiving Healing from Carol. Among all this I also started having additional, random symptoms; tingling in my face and body, palpitations, feeling off balance, nausea, headaches, hormones all over the place, unable to regulate body temperature and severe insomnia, emotions all over the place.

Honestly, I felt all over the place – on all levels! One day I had a funny turn and ended up in hospital with suspected atrial fibrillation.

My heart rate had gone up to 170+ and would drop to 40 and kept fluctuating. I was clammy and as you can imagine scared. I contacted Carol to say what was happening and she placed a patch (distantly) to calm my nervous system.

I was not aware of this until later and during this time started to feel so much calmer. Yet another time in my life Carol’s presence, support and reassurance goes beyond any words of thanks.

I then had further scans, ECGs, a heart monitor, types of blood and another test for my adrenaline. All came back clear – despite all those years ago my adrenaline running high. About the gland flare-ups, they have significantly improved.

I no longer catch every cold or illness going. In fact, despite working with unwell patients I treat daily, I have not been unwell. My glands come up but it feels like a good immune response, in that they are fighting off anything trying to get in.

Then they go back down. My energy is really starting to return and my usual zest for life is flowing. I can feel and see, as well as others commenting that I have my sparkle back.

Many say that I am glowing, radiant and a beacon of light! Although some symptoms remain, I can feel it’s all heading in the right direction.

I continue to work with Carol and the Healing Sanctuary and each and every time I can feel the same serene sensations of being held in floating clouds, my body and mind truly relax and I just feel nourished on the inside.

I believe it is this energy that is emanating outwardly. Carol’s new way of working with the Healing Sanctuary in comparison to that 15 years ago is interesting.

Although part of me would love in-person one-to-one and the effect feels much more intense and seemed to be quicker in its results.

The new way is empowering, as you can feel in control of supporting your body, mind and spirit being able to tune into the higher energies in your own time and have support and top-ups.

Although we can all need help and support externally, I think we are ultimately responsible for ourselves and this way of working really helps you to keep that in mind.

It can be easy to get caught up in bad habits and unconsciously go about your days not really doing things that help yourself. This is like a magic dose of energy and a subtle yet profound reminder we have so much control over how we support and look after ourselves.

I’m not sure any healing process is easy but the benefits truly outweigh the toughest of times. A lot has happened over the years; mentally, physically and emotionally.

Western Medicine has been great in many respects and without question can do so much for us. But it is Carol’s gift and abilities that have really changed my life for the better. Her energy, laughter and lightheartedness is infectious. She really is one of life’s greatest souls and anyone who gets to work with or know her is truly blessed. Thank you, Carol, for everything.
