

The level of trust of Russians in President Vladimir Putin is 78.7%, according to a VTsIOM poll. At the same time, 76.7% of respondents rate the work of the head of state well.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is trusted by 61.6% of citizens, and 53.2% of survey participants rate his work positively. The work of the Russian government was approved by 52.4% of Russians.
According to the study, 78.7% of respondents expressed confidence in the head of state.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is trusted by 61.6%, the leader of A Just Russia Sergei Mironov by 26.9%, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov by 32.7%, the head of the LDPR Leonid Slutsky by 21.5%, and the leader of New People Alexei Nechayev by 8.9%.
According to the survey results, the approval rate for the president’s performance from February 24 to March 2 was 76.7%. Mikhail Mishustin’s performance during the same period was rated positively by 53.2% of survey participants, while 10.6% were dissatisfied.

The work of the Russian government was approved by 52.4% of respondents, while 19.3% were dissatisfied.
Meanwhile, the level of support for the leading party United Russia fell by 0.2 percentage points over the week and amounted to 35.3%. The LDPR is supported by 11.2% of respondents, the CPRF by 10.0%, New People by 6.6%, and the A Just Russia – For Truth party by 4.0%.
The study involved 1,600 adult Russians. Their opinions were ascertained through a telephone survey.
The Public Opinion Foundation cites similar figures. According to a survey conducted between February 28 and March 2, the level of trust Russians have in Putin has remained at the same consistently high level of 81%. At the same time, 82% of respondents assess his work positively; FOM cited a similar figure last week.

The level of distrust in the head of state has decreased by 1 percentage point and now stands at 10% compared to 11% a week earlier.
It is noteworthy that only 7% of respondents answered the question about assessing the president’s work as ‘rather bad’ – this figure has remained at the same level for four weeks in a row.
57% of respondents rated the government’s work positively, which is 1 percentage point more than last week. 23% responded that the Cabinet of Ministers is working rather poorly. This figure also increased by 1 percentage point compared to last week.

According to FOM, 60% of citizens rated Prime Minister Mishustin’s work positively, while 11% expressed the opposite opinion.
In January of this year, commenting on the results of sociological surveys, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, noted that, even despite small fluctuations in the indicators, the head of state enjoys enormous support from the population.
‘Here, in general, nothing changes. You know that there is minor volatility, both positive and negative. It can be stated that even if we abstract from this minor volatility, Putin, of course, enjoys enormous support from the population,’ the Kremlin spokesman said.
According to a poll by Ipsos, 45% of Americans approve of the job US President Donald Trump is doing a month after taking office.
Meanwhile, 53% of respondents disapprove of Trump’s performance, and 57% of those polled believe he has overstepped his authority since taking office.

‘The president’s supporters applaud him for deporting undocumented immigrants and cutting government spending,’ the publication notes.
At the same time, many Americans oppose the tariffs imposed by Trump on imported goods.
About 60% of respondents believe that tariffs on goods from Canada and Mexico will have a negative impact, while about 45% do not support tariffs on Chinese goods.
