Both the British and French shunned regimes had announced that they were planning a joint visit to Washington, escorting their ‘wayward child’ Zelensky, to try and patch up their differences and attempt to bring Trump more in line with their way of thinking.

The response from Washington was, ‘Don’t even bother getting on the plane’.

Now, spokespersons from both are saying ‘There are no immediate plans to visit Trump at the White House.’

The realization that no amount of flattery, and no overrated invitation by the British King, were enough to win Trump over, has forced Starmer to state: ‘I don’t want to drag Britain into war with Russia.’

Let’s be realistic. Without US military backing, none of Washington’s minions would want to drag their countries into a war with Russia.

The brassy statements by certain EU leaders – unelected or deeply unpopular – that they intend to invest 800 billion euros in strengthening EU security, become comical when the punchline is delivered:

‘Over the next ten years.’ How’s that going to help Ukraine today? How’s that going to secure Zelensky’s hold on power in that unfortunate country?

Zelensky is finished because the new US Administration wants him gone. Period.

That Israeli-Ukrainian weasel, instead of going around European capitals collecting pats on the back from non-players, would be well advised to go back home, pack a suitcase of T-shirts and leave the country, while the going is still good. TELL US WHAT YOU THINK
