MICHAEL WALSH: 13 WORDS THAT COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING ~ ‘When all the deeds of my life be judged may it be so.’
No matter how you define yourself ~ Christian or as any of scores of Christian offshoots ~ you cannot change what cannot be transformed. Those who practice spirituality know it already.
Each time you die, the gravitational pull of destiny will again hand you a period of mortality. You do not have a choice. You will live many lives; you already have done so, although many will have forgotten them.
You will ~ as you go through each life experience, there will be a ‘chance’ meeting with someone or something, or you will witness an event that will strangely remind you of a life you have lived before. It may be fear of a certain way of dying, an encounter with someone or something that inexplicably repels ~ or attracts you.
You cannot account for your instinct: the gravitational pull of destiny. There is the realisation you have met before – but not in this life. It may be that you have a gift for something which you cannot explain. There is a connection with a past life.

The saying, you only live once, is profoundly untrue. You experience a mortal life many times.
You have lived before and after each mortal experience you will live again and the cycle will keep repeating.
YOU WILL BE JUDGED
When each term of mortality ends – you die ~ you will face judgement. There is no escape – vanity will not relieve you of your burden or your saving grace.
If you believe that you can do as you wish during your mortal experience; if you delude yourself into believing that your death bed offers the perfect ‘get out of jail’ solution, you are in for a rude awakening.

Well, many will but not necessarily you. Yours could be a happy ending – and may it be so.
Many will be elevated on the cycle of lives regardless of their wealth or social status. This depends entirely on their conduct during their period of mortality.
Because you don’t understand or believe, it does not mean it doesn’t exist: there is much in life that is beyond the cleverest of men’s understanding.
Sometimes the day is darkened by weaving clouds of starlings but orchestrated by what power, by what unseen metaphysical force? How does a small bird – which un-feathered is no larger than your thumb – fly 6,000 miles from South Africa to the Baltic States to land unerringly in its tiny nest hidden in the rafters of a remote smallholding?
Because you cannot understand the ways of the world is proof only of your humble state.
THE COSMIC ORDER CANNOT BE CHALLENGED

Call it what you will, there is a cosmic order which disciplines everything ~ including you, your family and associates, members of your government, persons in high positions – everyone is monitored and judged by the deeds they are responsible for during each period of mortality.
SNAKES AND LADDERS
The origin of the game we call Snakes and Ladders is about one millennium old.
Few realize that Snakes and Ladders is widely regarded as a spiritual game ~ think Ouija Board.
The game or snakes and ladders, which was introduced to England in 1896, is associated with the Hindu religion and was used to teach children morality.
One of the oldest Hindu boards labels the cells of virtue as Faith (12), Reliability (51), Generosity (57), Knowledge (76), and Asceticism (78).
Each of these squares is at the base of a ladder that a player ascends to a higher square when landing there. Conversely, the squares of evil are Disobedience (41), Vanity (44), Vulgarity (49), Theft (52), Lying (58), Drunkenness (62), Debt (69), Rage (84), Greed (92), Pride (95), Murder (73), and Lust (99).
THE ROAD TO NIRVANA

Each of these squares is the mouth of a snake which then swallows the player’s counter, causing it to descend to a lower square.
The last square, 100, represents Nirvana (Enlightenment, Heaven, Paradise).
The general premise of the game remained mostly unchanged but the sins and virtues were adjusted to reflect Christian morality.
Also, the number of snakes and ladders was equalized, making the newer game quicker and easier. In most modern versions, the labeling of the sins and virtues is absent.
Your conscience is the Presence of God – or, if you wish, the Cosmic Order.
If your conscience tells you that what you are doing is wrong yet you persist in doing wrong you are consciously defying the Cosmic Order. If, on the other hand, what you do leaves you with a clean conscience ~ then you are in harmony with the Cosmic Order.

It really is that simple. This is why the Cosmic Order – the force of eternal life – gave you a conscience.
This applies regardless of the seriousness or the apparent triviality of the sin.
The important thing to remember is that wherever conscience is inescapably involved it is noticed and recorded and you will be judged upon your actions.
‘When all the deeds of my life be judged may it be so.’
This may be to avoid harming a bug as it crosses your path, to care for an injured animal, to console someone in their grief, to spare a man’s life, to refuse to pull the trigger or strike with a knife or blunt instrument someone who you regard as an enemy.
If a judge, for instance, rules on a punishment ~ then the judge too will face the judgement of the Cosmic Order when his or her mortal life ends. The Cosmic Order sees, records and judges.

BECAUSE YOU LACK BELIEF DOES NOT MEAN AVOID JUDGEMENT
The important thing to remember is that it is not you who decides what is a sin against the Cosmic Order: It is a decision made by the Cosmic Order ~ and you will be judged.
The judgment will decide on your future mortal experiences; remember again the Hindu ‘game’ of Snakes and Ladders. Remember: ‘When all the deeds of my life be judged may it be so.’ TELL US WHAT YOU THINK
