EAT MEAT ~ STAY HEALTHY

Nutritionist Aslanova: Four types of lean meat will strengthen the heart and blood vessels of men. To prevent cardiovascular diseases, men can eat lean beef, venison, poultry or rabbit.

Also, don’t forget about berries, broccoli and green tea, which are rich in antioxidants. This was told by nutritionist technologist Marietta Aslanova, a leading researcher at the V. M. Gorbatov Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems.

The expert noted that some men neglect health care. This contributes to the increased risk of developing cardiovascular diseases in men. Correcting your diet helps prevent hypertension, heart attack and stroke.

‘The diet should be balanced, with a predominance of such products as lean beef, venison, poultry or rabbit, vegetables, fruits, unsweetened yoghurt, kefir (yoghurt), sour milk, fermented baked milk, low-fat sour cream,’ the specialist explained.

It is also important to consume fish oil, which normalizes blood cholesterol levels and prevents the formation of cholesterol plaques.

It is known that atherosclerosis affects the walls of blood vessels, reducing their elasticity and creating an obstacle to the flow of blood.

The rupture of an atherosclerotic plaque is dangerous due to the development of such serious conditions as myocardial infarction or stroke.

Aslanova added that antioxidants help to keep the male cardiovascular system healthy: berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries), broccoli, Brussels sprouts, black grapes and green tea.

You also need to eat foods rich in minerals, such as magnesium, and calcium – avocado, dark chocolate, legumes, cheeses. It is recommended to exclude foods with a lot of salt from the diet. TELL US WHAT YOU THINK
