Born into a literary Irish family, Michael Walsh is one of the world’s most loved poets. Patrick, his Irish father, fought in four conflicts. At 18 years of age waged guerrilla war on England’s notorious Black and Tan irregulars. Michael’s mother, Kathleen, a former nun, was a close friend of the Spanish revolutionary Dolores Ibarruri.

As a seaman, the dissident poet experienced life, culture, and religion in over 65 countries. In 2011 he was awarded ‘Writer of the Year’ by the publishers of Europe’s highest circulation free newspaper.
The bard has published 70 books. Furthermore, Michael has a worldwide reputation for penning prose that simply cannot be equalled. It has been said that he ‘writes with the pen of God in his hand.’
