MICHAEL WALSH: The ability to connect the suffering with the powers of recovery known as healing is frequently dismissed as a pseudoscience. This knee-jerk response is similar to the ‘conspiracy theorist’ jibe.

Such dismissive put-downs are used by those too lazy, stupid or arrogant to think outside the natural laws of the universe box.

Faith is real. Belief is a positive experience. Conviction works not just in faith healing but in everything we do. Faith is an essential component of creativity, healing and much else besides.

Faith is important whenever we place our trust in medical practitioners. We must sign a disclaimer before we agree to even a minor operation. If theirs is not a pseudoscience, why do you need to sign a disclaimer before agreeing to a routine hospital medical intervention?

Humans are souls experiencing a mortal break from their spirit existence. Some souls are upwardly mobile or avatars according to their level of progress and consciousness. Many are dead souls who as they travel from life to life are at varying stages of recovery.

To various degrees, mortal beings possess empathy and conscience and benefit from soul feelings that are denied to the unfeeling and avaricious pursuits of the soul-dead. If you understand this you will understand why some people are good and some people lacking a soul are evil.

Like any other creative person, a faith or higher realm healer is a person who has a gift. If during their passage through immortality, they are given a gift the obligation is on them to put it to the good of humanity.

This is why creative people exist. Often penniless, denied fame and fortune, they are compelled to share their gift that they may elevate souls denied such gifts.

Those who are open-minded and receptive to spiritual influence are better equipped to separate charlatans from the truly gifted. Others take their chances.

It is important to remember that the inability to benefit from the assistance of a mentor may be your failing, not theirs. It could mean you are not a receptive receiver. For example, a melody by Beethoven sends some into raptures but leaves others cold. This is their failing, not Beethoven’s.

This composer and many other creators believe their gifts are God-given or connected with the spirit world. Your disbelief in God and eternal life doesn’t mean that such do not exist.
