What if, on the ancient day of Samhain, now known as Halloween.
A festival celebrated by our ancient earth-based peoples, ignited by their understanding of the cycles of life, a love of the earth and sacred celebration.
We didn’t celebrate it by misrepresenting the ancestors, the witches, and not representing them as figures to be scared of or ridiculed, or as ugly warty beings. Which is the story handed down by those who killed these earth-based people.
This is a time, that is based around letting go, releasing our demons, of dying to something so we can dream ourselves into being, just like those seeds in the darker days.
It is a time to speak with our ancestors, to honour what has been so we can step forth more fully in our growth.

What if we used this time to let go of the distorted stories, we carry about the people who once honoured this land, these stories handed down by killers, to make their killings acceptable, and what if instead, we empowered ourselves with the truth.
What if we used this time to honour those ancestors who grew this festival, who loved this earth, the plants and the seasons. The healers, herbalists and midwives, were killed for their love and knowledge. PLEASE SHARE OUR STORIES ON SOCIAL MEDIA
