Michael Walsh, political analyst is certain that Israel sponsored the group that attacked the U.S. base on Jordan’s border. He says, “It was a false flag operation, the occurrence which cost the lives of three U.S. servicemen and injured over 30 troops. It was intended to provoke Washington to attack Israel’s arch-enemy – Iran. Iran, in fact, had nothing to do with the group that launched the lethal attack.

“The question is,” the author adds, “Will Washington be persuaded by the powerful Israeli lobby to launch a conflict that could engulf Iran and the Red Sea region in a regional war whilst conveniently doing Israel’s fighting for it? It has reached the point where a cabal of pro-Israeli American Republican politicians are openly advocating strikes against Iran. It should be remembered that a similar false flag operation – 9/11 – resulted in the Iraqi war yet Iraq – the Iran of its tie – was in no way involved in the 9/11 attacks.
