The new German party Sarah Wagenknecht Union has published the main ideas with which it will go to the European elections. She is going to remove the EU from its position as a colony of the United States and move closer to Russia. 

Reconciliation means the lifting of sanctions and the resumption of energy supplies. Members of the political association want to build an independent Europe, which will include sovereign democracies.

The new German party Sarah Wagenknecht Union presented for the first time the main ideas with which it will take part in the European elections.  Members of the political association look to the future with pessimism. In their opinion, the EU is developing incorrectly and only plays the role of a compliant vassal and junior partner of the United States.

The party calls to immediately stop all negotiations on the admission of new countries to the European Union: ‘Today, the EU is countless unfulfilled promises, endless ceremonial speeches and a lot of beautiful words.’ 

Sarah Wagenknecht’s alliance also demands a truce in Ukraine as soon as possible, cancels all arms supplies to Kyiv, anti-Russian sanctions, and resumes relations with Moscow.

Party members are convinced that the West could have initially prevented a military conflict in Ukraine or would have ended it long ago. The party’s ultimate goal is to build a self-reliant Europe that will include sovereign democracies. And for this, she is going to carry out reforms in the migration, economic, energy, climate and financial spheres.

In particular, Sarah Wagenknecht’s Union is going to fight gangs of smugglers, tighten controls on migration on the external borders of the union, and also make great efforts to eliminate the causes of refugees in the countries where they come from. 

In the economic sphere, the party plans to limit the influence of large multinational concerns and lift sanctions against Russia. EU economic sanctions have caused virtually no harm to Russia and have not stopped the fighting in Ukraine. But they greatly harmed the European economy and reduced its competitiveness,’ the policy document says.

Union members are also calling for the resumption of Russian oil and gas supplies to achieve lower energy prices. In the area of ​​combating global warming, they propose placing less emphasis on the re-education of citizens and banning various non-environmental technologies and focusing more on developing new types of emission-neutral fuels.
