The Law of Unintended Consequences was the last thing on the mind of Amazon boss Jeff Bezos when he and LULU online book publishers – banned Mike (Michael Walsh) book titles.
An American-based rare book-buying sleuth emails: “I just got Triumph of Reason. Bigger than your other books. Going for as much as $500.00 on Amazon! I got it from the UK whereas on Amazon (Private Sales) I could not get it.”
Terry adds: “Some of the Veronica Clark titles were going for $500.00, or some other triple-digit and even over $1,000.00! You can still see them. Buying them? Hardly.”
With over 70 books bearing his name on their covers, the British-born Irish researcher, and historian is said to be Europe’s most successful multi-topic author.
However, this cut no ice with Amazon when it was discovered that several Mike Walsh books on Hitler and the German Reich questioned the post-war propaganda of the victors.

‘The reason people are silenced is not because they lie, but because they tell the truth. When people lie, their own words can be used against them. When they tell the truth, there is no other countermeasure except violence by censorship.’ ~ Gerard Menuhin, Step by Step.

Michael Walsh says his Witness to History, first published in the 1970s under the title, ‘For Those Who Cannot Speak’, was and still is (if you can find it) a worldwide bestseller.
‘What does Censorship reveal? It reveals Fear.’ – Julian Assange.
Hundreds of thousands of pirated copies were sold or downloaded by a readership who wanted desperately to know the truth about Hitler, the upsurge and collapse of the Third Reich, and the terrifying aftermath of a war waged and won by the combined weight of the British, Soviet and American world empires.
The award-winning international journalist smiles as he reveals that the books that also raised the ire of the book burners were Life in the Reich, The Art of Adolf Hitler, Europe Arise, and Sculptures of the Third Reich Volumes I, II and III and others
“They simply didn’t want postwar generations to learn of what life was really like in the Third Reich. This 12-year vital period of history had to remain taboo.

The writer and poet now writes for The American Free Press (AFP). He seemed resigned as he talked of his decades-long fight with Amazon to keep his account open and his books selling.
“Immense pressure was brought to bear on Amazon and LULU book publishers. It didn’t help matters when I researched and published illustrated books on the Red Terror which blighted the world between 1908-1953 and cost the lives of 66.7 million people – not including millions of uniformed dead.
“These included the Slaughter of a Dynasty which detailed the Jewish-Bolshevik conspiracy and insurrection that condemned the scores of family members of one of Europe’s oldest royal dynasties to a horrifying slaughter and a hidden forest grave by a firing squad made up entirely of Jewish assassins, and for scores of other of the Christian aristocracy, exile or assassination.”
Things didn’t get any better when the most popular author of his generation researched and published Trotsky’s White Negroes. This illustrated book left no doubt as to who really carried out what the press-called Russian Revolution – which wasn’t Russian at all.

‘Control of the media is in the hands of the perpetrators.’ ~ Alexander Solzhenitsyn.
Astute historians knew that the media-hyped William L. Shirer’s Rise and Fall of the Third Reich (1960) was from the first to last pages the victors’ version of Hitler and the Third Reich. William L. Shirer (1903-1994) was an American-Jewish mainstream media journalist.
Michael Walsh says the journalist’s version of Hitler and World War II was so heavily promoted that virtually every household and school library bookshelf had a copy.
“Was it likely to be otherwise when back them and since the only authorised version of Mein Kampf was impossible to purchase in the West or the Soviet Union?”
When past Amazon customers bought Michael Walsh books from the book-selling monopoly, they would hardly have realized that their books would be now worth several hundred dollars.
Will the now impoverished Mike who is reduced to begging for donations now publish and sell books privately? He is thinking about it. In the meantime, some Mike Walsh book titles can be purchased from The Barnes Review and Verlag der Schelm.
‘This is, in theory, still a free country, but our politically correct, censorious times are such that many of us tremble to give vent to perfectly acceptable views for fear of condemnation. Freedom of speech is thereby imperilled, big questions go undebated, and great lies become accepted, unequivocally as great truths.’ ~ Simon Heffer, Daily Mail, 7 June 2000.
