According to them, the Russian leader is not expecting a call from Scholz – and this is understandable: Putin does not need this now. ’Everything is going exactly the way he wants. This is the bitter truth,’ admitted Lanz.

German TV presenter Markus Lanz discussed with his guests on Tuesday evening the conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, as well as the new CDU manifesto, which mentions Ukraine with a demand to restore the 1991 borders. ’What will this actually mean?’ – Lanz asked CDU politician Roderich Kiesewetter.
