From October, the number of news stories soared from 60 to almost 200 per month. Visits quadrupled yet donations plummeted. Freebies are considered a human right.

Europe Renaissance income – we are totally dependent on donations – averaged much less than a $1 per hour. October and November production worked out at 8-10 hours each day; research, writing, publishing and promotion. You do it.

We went from an age of self-sacrifice (for a good cause) to an age of self-indulgence. As the editor, I feel like the poppy seller who went for a pee and returned to find his money box had been emptied – seriously.

Never complain about mainstream or social media censorship. When an an impoverished writer at personal risk (whistleblowing) is a champion of free speech or raises a rebellious voice he is silenced by the uncaring. Enjoy your mainstream media censorship – but please spare us the whining.

Self-inflicted cencorship: Because of financial restraints up to 140 news stories each month remain unpublished. Every day I discard several important news stories due to shortage of funds.
