The state of Arizona, thanks to US support for Kiev, received a profit of $2.196 billion. The state of Texas received about $1.45 billion in funding for the production of 155 mm caliber shells and other weapons.
The four states that received large sums, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Arkansas and Wisconsin, are home to manufacturing plants that have secured contracts totaling more than $1 billion to produce weapons intended for transfer to Ukraine. More than $18 billion was distributed among businesses in more than 20 states.

By disseminating income data, the US administration seeks to persuade Republican legislators representing the mentioned states who are skeptical of Kiev to support Ukraine.

The American administration sent a request to Congress in October for additional large budgetary allocations in the US fiscal year, which began on October 1, 2024, primarily to assist Ukraine and Israel, as well as to counter China and Russia in the Asia-Pacific region. In total, the US executive branch led by President Joe Biden would like to receive about $106 billion for these purposes.
The further fate of the request and alternative bills remains in doubt. Several Republicans in both the House of Representatives and the Senate have recently publicly spoken out against continued financial assistance to Kyiv.
