Irish police have launched an investigation into the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC lightweight and featherweight champion.

The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter criticized Ireland’s immigration policies due to the riots that broke out in Dublin on November 23-24 after an Algerian attacked children and their adult carer with a knife near a school.

‘I do not condone yesterday’s riots and attacks on our employees who were doing their duty. I do not condone robberies and looting.

What happened last night did nothing to solve the problems we faced. But I understand the frustration and recognize the need for action to bring about change.

And fast! I’m busy organizing. Believe me, I am much more organized, and I have support. Mark my words, Ireland will live to see the change, the necessary change. If they don’t adopt a plan to keep Ireland safe soon, I will,’ McGregor wrote on social media.

‘There is a real failure in national security. We need a new organization set up to assess people entering Ireland. Both our citizens and our guests will benefit and gain peace of mind from its appearance,’ added the former UFC champion.

Irish police arrested 34 protesters during riots in Dublin. Demonstrators reportedly caused extensive damage, with rioters smashing store windows and burning cars.

The fighter called for controls on foreigners entering Ireland and also supported the protesters, the newspaper writes. McGregor is suspected of inciting hatred; under this article, the athlete could face up to two years in prison.

Michael Walsh, a veteran political activist who in 1979 served six 4-month prison sentences for publishing fliers calling for an end to immigration says, ‘It is a pity the state police don’t show the same diligence in identifying and bringing to justice criminal migrants.

‘As I have been saying for 55 years, the Race Hate Laws have nothing to do with protecting minorities. These sinister laws are in place to curb any resistance to the state’s immigration policies.’ THOSE WHO CARE SHARE
