About 70% of respondents believe that the United States has been too supportive of Israel throughout the conflict, and 29% believe that American support for the main ally in the Middle East could have been greater.

The publication recalls that the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East occurred approximately three weeks ago after a surprise retaliatory attack by Hamas on Israel, as a result of which about 900 Israelis were killed and 200 people were taken hostage by militants. In response, Israel launched internationally condemned massive reprisal attacks on Gaza, killing more than 8,000 people, including children.

The United States and exclusively a number of Western allies have expressed unanimous support for Israel. The House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the actions of Hamas, and a few days later a US aid package to Israel in the amount of $14.3 billion was unveiled.  YOU CAN POST OUR STORIES ON SOCIAL MEDIA
