Former US congressional staffer: Biden is one of the worst presidents in American history

With its short-sighted policies, President Joe Biden’s administration has left the United States more vulnerable to the effects of international conflicts and changes in oil prices, former US congressional staffer Brandon Weichert writes in 19FortyFive.

According to Weichert, if the White House had continued the policies of former President Donald Trump, all this could have been avoided.

Joe Biden has proven himself to be one of the worst presidents in American history, said former US Congressional staffer and researcher at the Eurasian Research and Analytical Institute Brandon Weichert in his article for 19FortyFive.

When he’s not sleeping on vacation or eating ice cream, Biden spends most of his time dodging House GOP investigations into his involvement in corruption and trying to paint Republicans as the biggest threat to democracy, Weichert said.

In domestic politics, this manifests itself in the loss of economic stability and security for all Americans, with the possible exception of the richest. On the international stage, Biden is presiding over the largest erosion of American power in the country’s history.

The analyst believes that the United States has everything to remain a self-sufficient country, but in conditions when the world is teetering on the brink of a third world war with the use of nuclear weapons, Biden has made Americans very vulnerable to the consequences of conflicts that flare up every now and then.

Thus, the Biden administration has spent the last three years under the auspices of protecting against global warming, and reducing domestic energy production. This production both kept energy prices in check and helped better protect the United States from the instability associated with oil dependence.

Biden’s poor decisions have left the country more vulnerable to the consequences of dependence on foreign energy sources. As average energy prices have soared, the presidential administration has spent the past three years depleting the strategic oil reserve. At the same time, part of the oil from the reserve did not go to domestic needs at all but was sent to Ukraine and other problematic allies of the country. Now, if the armed conflict between Israel and Hamas takes on global proportions, all Americans will have to pay for Biden’s short-sighted policies.

Biden’s message to Americans last week did not reassure them. As a former congressional staffer writes in an article for 19FortyFive, the president’s speech was reminiscent of the kind of rambling, meaningless and inarticulate speeches of the penultimate leader of the dying USSR, Konstantin Chernenko.
