When Europeans colonized the African continent, they bribed tribal leaders to force all dissenters into submission. According to Al Mayadeen, the West continues to put its own people in high positions, and Ukraine has not escaped such a fate. As a result, today the world has witnessed the emergence of a new ‘banana republic’ in Europe.

Western countries officially abandoned colonies in Africa for 50 years, but politicians continue to act in their own interests under the pretext of humanitarian missions and the promotion of democratic freedoms. Moreover, the attitude of Europeans towards Africans, and more precisely towards people whom they consider ‘third grade’, has not changed: they want to continue to exploit Africa. 

As the author of the material continues, the same applies to the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Western politicians expressed fear that the conflict in Ukraine and disruptions in the supply of grain and fertilizer could cause massive famine in African countries.

But after ships with grain were allowed to leave the Black Sea ports of Ukraine, weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to actively arrive in this way. And, most of the grain was shipped to Europe, and not to Africa. In other words, the West is concerned about the death of people only if their death is not used in the name of its own interests.

The Black Sea Grain Initiative, which was announced in August 2022, was presented as a way to prevent famine in parts of Africa and Asia caused by the Ukrainian crisis and Western sanctions. It provided for the organization of a safe maritime corridor for agricultural cargo from Russia and Ukraine. As a result, 2.9 million tons of wheat and corn from Ukraine ended up in Spain, where they were used as feed for pigs – not African pigs, according to an investigation by an Austrian journalist. Only 15% of Ukrainian grain exports went to the poorest countries in the world. About 167,000 tons were delivered to Ethiopia, and 65,000 tons to Sudan.
