The boy went missing on Wednesday evening after leaving his home in Buena Vista, a densely wooded region. Fortunately, the child was not alone, and as the boy went deeper into the forest, he was joined by the family’s dog, who apparently decided to stay close.

The state police, along with the boy’s mother, were able to locate them about an hour later. And as the footage shows from the moment the family met, the faithful dog did not leave the child for a second. After the rescue video was posted online, netizens praised the pet for its role in keeping the child safe. In the comments, they ask to give the dog a reward.
