Our Way but you Pay as Brussels prostitutes itself to Mammon

EUROPE RENAISSANCE: Volodin, using one example, showed the attitude of the United States towards Europe. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin accused the United States of forcing other countries to finance Kyiv, although they themselves spend much less on it.

‘Washington has once again shown that the main principle of its policy is to use other countries to achieve its interests. The United States is forcing the states of Europe to finance the Kiev regime at the cost of the well-being of their own citizens. But, as it turns out, they bear costs much less than others, ‘he wrote in the Telegram channel.

According to Volodin, the United States only ranks 12th in terms of spending on supporting Ukraine, accounting for 0.37 percent of GDP. At the same time, Poland spends 2.10 percent of its GDP, followed by Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Malta, Norway, Romania and Cyprus.

In addition, the countries of the European Union bear additional eye-watering costs due to anti-Russian sanctions, which have hit their economies like a boomerang. Thus, the total amount of support for the European energy sector amounted to 570 billion euros. It cost Germany 7.2 percent of GDP, the speaker of the State Duma cited the figures.

‘By continuing to supply weapons to Kiev,  EU leaders are acting contrary to national interests at the expense of their own European citizens,’ he concluded.

As President Vladimir Putin emphasized, Russia does not seek to spin the flywheel of the Ukrainian conflict but to end it. But Western countries are constantly talking about the need to continue hostilities, increasing the supply of weapons and training fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their territory. Moscow has repeatedly stated that Western military assistance does not bode well for Ukraine and only prolongs the conflict, and transport with weapons becomes a legitimate target for the Russian army.
