EUROPE RENAISSANCE SCOOP: The head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, spoke about the risks of the spread of new enhanced pathogens due to the activities of US-funded biological laboratories. According to her, the population of any country may be at risk, since infections have no borders.

‘There are certainly risks of the spread of new, unknown, enhanced pathogens ~ far more lethal than Covid. It is also striking that there are publications in which they do not hesitate to declare that they are studying pathogens, enhancing their properties. 

In my opinion, this is a clear violation of the convention (on biological weapons.(Kommersant),’ said Popova. She did not specify what publications she is talking about. In addition, the head of Rospotrebnadzor drew attention to the fact that countries like Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania where such laboratories appear are at risk of losing or have already lost their biological sovereignty.

The Russian authorities have repeatedly accused the United States of creating biological laboratories and developing biological weapons, including in Ukraine. Kyiv and Washington deny all accusations. 

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the laboratories on the territory of the country remained from the times of the USSR. According to him, they are ‘engaged in ordinary science,’ not military or population reduction technology. In November, the UN Security Council rejected a resolution from Russia demanding the creation of a commission to investigate the joint military-biological activities of the United States and Ukraine. Share this You can story on social media.
