Trust the Science they said and look what happened

Heartburn drug makers hid cancer risk for over 40 years before they silently began to withdraw the cancer-inducing drug from the market.

British pharmaceutical giant Glaxo has been hiding the dangers of its stomach ulcer and heartburn drug Zantac for more than 40 years. It is reported by Bloomberg. The agency found that the manufacturer had been aware since 1978 (45 years) of the property of the active ingredient in ranitidine to release the powerful cancer-causing agent N-nitroso dimethylamine (NDMA) in the body.

However, despite this, the company hid the results of these studies and did not recall the drug from pharmacies.

The general public was only informed about the dangers of ranitidine in 2019. Then and reluctantly, incredibly, only after that, Zantac manufacturers and health regulators around the world began to recall the highly profitable killer drug.

At the same time, pharmacists claim that the increased risk of cancer when taking Zantac has not been scientifically proven and such assumptions are speculative.

Zantac was the most popular prescription drug. These days, NDMA is being used to induce cancer in lab rats.
