It is reported that during the Russian withdrawal about 140,000 citizens of Kherson opted to evacuate to Russia and were bussed out in fleets of trucks and buses driven by volunteer drivers. According to the authorities, ‘at least 100 people were killed without trial or investigation.’ About 200 residents were missing and unaccounted for. ‘Detentions occur every day,’ Malkevich added.

The day before, Russia ‘s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, spoke about the repressions of the Ukrainian military against civilians, which are being carried out on the right bank of the Dnieper. 

‘Ukrainian nationalists who have entered the right bank of the Dnieper have already begun mass purges and repressions against the local population,’ the diplomat said.

Earlier, a 20-year-old citizen of Ukraine with the call sign Archie told CNN about night attacks by partisans to kill Russian soldiers in Kherson. 

‘I was not the only one in Kherson (…) there were many partisans. At least ten ethnic Russians were killed every night,’ he said. According to CNN, the Ukrainian military confirmed his words about the massacres of soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces.
