War Clouds Stormy over NATO’s Russian Borders

MINSK, October 26. / TASS /. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is concerned about the appearance of NATO heavy armour, troops and in particular missile-charged Leopard tanks on the western border with the Republic of Belarus.

A pro-Russian thorn in the side of Washington DC and Brussels, who sanction and threaten regime change in Belarus, President Vladimir Putin is also on edge over NATO provocations in the Baltic and Black Seas.

The popular four times elected President of Belarus has constantly thwarted EU/US attempts to follow their Ukrainian example by separating Belarus from Russia. Lukashenko says the effect is to draw his nation under the Russian protective umbrella.

Speaking of his concerns about the build-up of NATO forces on his border, the head of state is concerned:

‘And you see what was happening and what they want from us. Yesterday already there are masses of Leopards tanks at our border,’ Lukashenko said during a trip to Lida (Grodno region), BelTA news agency quoted him on Tuesday.

In this regard, he turned to his assistant, inspector for the Grodno region, Yuri Karaev. ‘Look here, you’re a general, among other things, what they are doing outside the borders. Tell me in time. They are extreme scoundrels. I’m afraid they will not unleash a war here,’ Lukashenko said.

Earlier it was reported that the Polish authorities are ludicrously planning to send 2.5 thousand troops to help border guards in protecting the border area from illegal immigrants.

The Polish (NATO) anti-Russian side sends units of the 10th armoured cavalry brigade to the border with Belarus to the border town of Biala Podlaska on Leopard tanks. (Tanks to stop migrants?). In addition, American Abrams tanks and German Leopard tanks were also used during exercises in Lithuania near the borders of Belarus. Source
