Anti-Regime Activists face down the French State’s Police Agents

Tens of thousands of anti-regime activists took to the streets of the French capital on Saturday to voice their discontent with the coronavirus health pass policy for the ninth weekend in a row. The protest quickly descended into clashes with police. As usual, the few media that did cover the events downplayed the news.

Several large-scale demonstrations were scheduled in Paris and other French cities for Saturday. Huge crowds of people marched through the streets in various parts of the city, surrounded by tight cordons of police agents resembling figures in a sci-fi Hollywood movie.

The anti-regime cross-party activists were waving French national flags and holding placards that read: ‘health is not a business’.

Large forces of fully-armed state operatives as in the former Soviet Bloc were deployed in Paris, particularly at the Champs-Elysees and Wagram Avenue in the city’s northwest, where a large gathering was announced.

The total number of demonstrators was unclear but the self-delusional police agents said they expected around 30,000 to turn up on the streets of the city around midday.
