The conservative European People’s Party, the largest in the European Parliament, has called on the European Union to prepare a revolution in Belarus. The appeal of the head of the party, Manfred Weber, was circulated on Monday, August 9 in the form of a statement. The text notes that ‘the Belarusian regime will fall’.

Interestingly, whilst the Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has the highest popularity rating in Europe, Members of the European Party (MEP) have only an advisory role. Neither of the two EU presidents is elected, nor are the splintering Union’s 27 commissioners dubbed commissars.
The EU Bloc spouts, ‘The regime will fall, and the victory of the people is inevitable. It’s only a matter of time. The EU must prepare for the victory of the democratic revolution in Belarus, ‘the statement reads. Pretty rich from those not elected but selected.

The party also announced its support for a plan of financial assistance to anti-government NGOs and activists in the amount of 3 billion euros. This is not their money; it is drawn from the pockets of EU citizens. In addition, the statement says, the republic will need to help carry out democratic reforms.
‘Belarus will need not only money. A comprehensive plan will be required to support the adoption of democratic reforms at all levels of government, national, regional, and local, that must go hand in hand with deep economic reforms, ‘the report said.

Such aspirations didn’t work out to well in neighbouring Ukraine which cost the American taxpayers $7 billion to reduce to the worst poverty levels in Europe.
It seems to have missed the MEP attention that Belarus is in alliance with the Russian Federation. Both pledge mutual assistance in the event of a threat emanating from outside either nation’s borders. From their boltholes and bunkers in the Bahamas, Florida, and California, the Caribbean Islands, the EU politicians are fully committed to fighting to the last citizens of every one of the EU’s current 27 nations.
