In his own words former German President-Chancellor Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) places on record the blueprint from which he and the German Workers National Socialist Party created the Third Reich (1933-1945).

The young labourer’s description of a leftist workers protest for work and bread perhaps inspired Hitler. Whatever challenges Germany faced following World War I, the highly-decorated war veteran would not blame the Jews for he had earlier remarked that anti-Semitism was repugnant.

There is much about the social revolutionary that is enigmatic. Adolf Hitler was drawn from the great masses of humanity to become as popular as Jesus Christ. Furthermore, he achieved the miracle of earning the respect and uniting peoples of all ethnicities, creeds and religions by complementing Christianity with his National Socialist creed.

So far, an estimated 750,000 book titles have been published on The Third Reich. According to a leading American broadcaster, by 2016, an impressive 128,000 book titles had been published on Adolf Hitler alone. Mein Kampf is today more widely read than ever before.

Yet, few books record the rise of the Third Reich in Hitler’s own words. Drawn from his speeches and media interviews My Last Testament Let God Decide by historian Michael Walsh is Adolf Hitler’s own storytelling of his lifetime struggle for Germany’s soul.  

Arguably the most famous social-revolutionary and reformer in history, Adolf Hitler has received more publicity than any other world figure, dead or alive. His character and role, and that of his political associates, his political creed and the rise and lifetime of the Third Reich provides sufficient written material to fell several rain forests.

At the latest count an estimated 750,000 different book titles relating to Hitler, the Reich and World War II have been published. Unfortunately, all but a few relate to the Reich or its founder in terms that could best be described as prejudiced and opinionated and drawn by the victors’ ink.

Any authentic court of law allows the accused to defend himself in order that an assessment of him and his deeds can be objectively and dispassionately considered.

However, victors’ justice displayed at the so-called Nuremberg Trials and Military Tribunals were not based on principles of jurisprudence. No serious scholar draws conclusions from these quasi-courts deliberations and findings.

Adolf Hitler, by taking his own life, denied the victors their Stalinist Show Trials. Refusing to submit Germany to their judgement, his final act of duty to the honour of Germany was to deprive the sham judges of the USSR, United States and Britain their impudent opportunity to subject him, and therefore Germany, to a judicial farce, to parade him naked in a cage through Red Square, and to publicly hang him.

Fortunately, thanks to many historical documents, we do have access to the former Reich leader’s speeches, public addresses, private conversations, interviews with the press. Drawing on these sources, we can objectively set out the case in the defence of Adolf Hitler. Then, having formed our judgment let God decide.
