As an American, it amazes me how braindead we have become here. Even my conservative friends and family who don’t trust the media, who don’t trust government with power, etc, are telling me–without joking–that I should “get the vaccine, what are you so afraid of?” I tell them “Even if it is good for me, I should be the one to decide that; not the government. It shouldn’t be a requirement to keep my job, have a bank account, travel, etc.” Americans pride themselves on being ‘free thinkers and don’t like being told what to do’ yet they believe and say whatever the government, education, celebrities tell them.
