We love Europe; for this reason, we oppose the European Union

THE EU IS STARTING TO CRUMBLE. Brussels is hyper-anxious and on red on alert as momentum surges for Eurexit, a coalition of national unity for a Europe of sovereign but mutually cooperative groups from SIX (and growing) EU countries.

The Eurexit Movement was launched in January in response to growing disillusionment with the Brussels-controlled EU regime. The unelected and unelectable EU cult was likened to the Soviet Bloc by several who should know both:

‘The most puzzling development in politics during the last decade is the apparent determination of Western European leaders to re-create the Soviet Union in Western Europe.’ ~ Mikhail Gorbachev, the last Soviet President.

The growing anti-Brussels coalition is comprised of sceptics from Italy, France and Spain, with the help of the Brexit Party from the UK. The movement is now growing, with new members from the Czech Republic, Ireland and Bulgaria joining the team, as announced on the group’s Twitter account on Thursday.

They wrote: ‘We welcome the Irish Freedom Party, Odchod movement and Bulgaria na Truda i Razuma to the #Eurexit Movement! ‘Our manifesto is now available in Czech and Bulgarian.’

The anti-European Union initiative began when Generation Frexit leader Charles-Henri Gallois, Italexit leader Gianluigi Paragone and former Brexit Party MEP Alexandra Phillips teamed up for a continental campaign to leave the EU. Somos Espana leader Luis Carlos Nogues soon joined the quest to fight for Spain to leave the bloc. The group of eurosceptics hope their Eurexit Movement can start the pressing debate about the benefits of quitting the European Union across the bloc. Mr Nogues said: ‘We are just getting started’.

The group of anti-EU leaders drafted a joint manifesto promoting individual states’ freedom to pursue real sovereignty while remaining allies with the EU.

Mr Nogues said the plan was to have a ‘transversal coalition’ of nations in the respect of each other’s sovereign power to rule outside of the EU. The joint manifesto reads: ‘We want a Europe of international cooperation, of cultural and student exchanges as well as fair trade between countries. But this new Europe will have to be built outside and beyond the European Union. We love Europe; for this reason, we oppose the European Union.’

The group also aims at the return of sovereign currencies such as the lire, franc and peso after the dismantlement of the hapless Eurozone and its rules. EU news: Luis Carlos Nogues, leader of Somos Espana for Spexit:

They pledge: ‘20 years after its creation, the euro is a colossal failure. It stifles the economy of several European countries, contributes to their deindustrialisation and benefits only a few select countries, first and foremost Germany.

‘We affirm that the act of issuing one’s own money is a fundamental attribute of the democratic nation-state, Like the control of its borders, its armies or its diplomacy. Each country must have a currency adapted to its economy. That is why we are demanding an exit from the euro (a demand which the signatory parties that are not part of the euro area fully support).’

Finally, they reject the idea the European Union could be reformed as some eurosceptics across the bloc like Matteo Salvini and Marine Le Pen now vow to do.

They say: ‘The European Union cannot be reformed. Since the signing of the Treaty of Rome, we have kept hearing promises of ‘another Europe’, but this has never resulted in concrete facts. ‘Regaining sovereignty and therefore true democracy requires getting out of the European Union and Eurozone and the sooner the better.’

  1. I of course support any anti- EU movement, but I cannot escape the feeling, that this movement harbors anti-german sentiments, for to clain that Germany benefited from the Euro is patently false. The abolition of the MARK was a disaster and cost the german tax payer massively. The fact that Germany DESPITE this emerged financially healthy is due to the work ethic and organizational skill of the people. We observed the same thing in the COMECON countries. Whereas Poland, the Czechs, the baltic countries, Hungary and all the rest were barely surviving, the communist part of Germany developed into a powerhouse, outproducing their communist neighbors vastly. For example, the communist german motorcycle AWO was produced only (!) in order to furnish other communist countries´ leadership with high quality bikes – These superb machines were GIVEN AS OFFICIAL GIFTS to the neighbor nations, ditto with EMW automoniles – the communist brother of BMW -, not to forget considerable ¨foreign aid¨ flowing from East Berlin to Moscow, Warsaw and all the other red capitals. A fair mechanism must be found, to eliminate the deadly virus of jealousy Germany´s neighbors invariably feel. I have no idea what that mechanism could be — the EU and the Euro certainly are not it. The problem is, you remove the handcuffs from Germany and within a few years they end up leading everyone by a mile in every discipline known to man and that they do WITHOUT trying – it´s just natural and THAT cannot be allowed by the powers-that-be. A real conundrum.
