In Britain, the couple was banned from turning on Christmas lights worth $ 27 000. Too many people wanted to see their beautiful scenery.
Christmas-mad Dan Warr-Extance and Mark Extance-Warr transformed their home into a winter wonderland with illuminated reindeer, thousands of lights and Christmas trees.
The Extance-Warr family from the British city of Tintinally has been decorating their home for Christmas for several years in a row. They hang kilometers of garlands and light bulbs, set up huge figures of fairy-tale characters and animals, and even create miniatures of winter landscapes under glass.
But they do this not only for the sake of a festive mood. Many people come to see the Christmas decorations and donate money.
All the money after the holiday season of Extance-Warr is donated to charity, mainly helping hospitals and medical centers.

This year, the family turned their home into a fairytale castle from Disney cartoons. And they spent over 27 thousand dollars on all the decorations. But it was not possible to admire the Christmas lights for a long time this year.
Someone complained about the British to the police, saying that their holiday decorations attract many tourists, and in the context of a pandemic and a partial lockdown in the country, this is unacceptable.
The police had to close the Extance-Warrett home for public visits. The couple was also ordered to turn off all Christmas lights, according to the Daily Star. Source
